SCOUTING AMERICA:
WVU AT THE JAMBOREE

The Scouting Jamboree is a large event (20,000 attendees) typically held every 4 years at the Summit Bechtal Reserve in southern WV. West Virginia University has a large presence by hosting tents and events for their “Science Behind the Sport” adventure education program, where they educate on the science and physics of outdoor/adventure sports and equipment.

WVU Jamboree Patch Set: 5-sided center, 5 sport patches (Patches are a BIG deal with scouts)

With many scouts on the verge of college age, an informative booklet was created to distribute during the event, tailored to adventure related majors .
